Reto Halme

Yogalehrer

Reto´s teaching-style targets calm, energetic count, justifying demanding vinyasa. With past of an ¨urban gypsy¨, Reto was originally drawn to Jivamukti yoga by its fast rhythmic flow, leading to a meditative state of mind. Grown up in Finland, Reto used to work as a photographer and film-maker for fashion, commercial and art-market. Living in New York, Los Angeles and Madrid, the subject-matter of images became simply the life, mostly in its moody, urban shades. Reto traveled to Berlin for a drama-film project, but instead got hooked by the Jivamukti Yoga studios. Followed a Jivamukti teacher training in Costa Rica 2013 with David Life, Jules Ferbe and Rima Rabbath. Instantly after that, 800-hour Apprenticeship with Anja Kühnel in Berlin. On mental level, Reto explores the possibilities of yoga, meditation and pranayama in addiction recovery.

„You must understand the whole of life,
not just one little part of it.
That is why you must read,
that is why you must look at the skies,
that is why you must sing and dance,
and write poems and suffer and understand,
for all that is life.“
